Abstract
Maria Ciofalo (Santo Stefano di Camastra, 4 March 1913 – Palermo, 9 November 2009) was a partisan fighter and was awarded the War Merit Cross. Maria began her university studies in Naples during the war period. She played an important role during the Four Days of Naples, and a more in‑depth historical investigation is currently underway in collaboration with ANPI. Maria resumed her studies in Architecture in Palermo, where she graduated on 23 July 1973.
